Judges 7:9–11

That same hnight the Lord said to him, “Arise, go down against the camp, ifor I have given it into your hand. 10 But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with Purah your servant. 11 jAnd you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp.” kThen he went down with Purah his servant to the outposts of the armed men who were in the camp.

Judges 7:9–11 — The New International Version (NIV)

During that night the Lord said to Gideon, “Get up, go down against the camp, because I am going to give it into your hands. 10 If you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah 11 and listen to what they are saying. Afterward, you will be encouraged to attack the camp.” So he and Purah his servant went down to the outposts of the camp.

So Gideon took Purah and went down to the edge of the enemy camp.
