Joshua 23:8–9

8 But you are to hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have until now.

9 “The Lord has driven out before you great and powerful nations; to this day no one has been able to withstand you.

8 But cleave unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day. 9 For the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.

8 Rather, cling tightly to the Lord your God as you have done until now.

9 “For the Lord has driven out great and powerful nations for you, and no one has yet been able to defeat you.

8 but you shall hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day. 9 For the Lord has driven out from before you great and strong nations; but as for you, no one has been able to stand against you to this day.

8 You must continue to follow the Lord your God, as you have done in the past.

9 “The Lord has forced many great and powerful nations to leave ahead of you. No nation has been able to defeat you.

8 but cleave unto Jehovah your God, as ye have done unto this day. 9 For Jehovah hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath stood before you unto this day.

8 but ye shall cleave unto Jehovah your God, as ye have done unto this day. 9 For Jehovah hath dispossessed from before you great and strong nations; and as to you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.

8 But you must be loyal to the Lord your God, as you have been until now. 9 The Lord has forced important and powerful nations out of your way. Not one person has ever been able to stand up to you.

8 Instead, remain faithful to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day.

9 “The Lord has driven out great and powerful nations before you, and no one is able to stand against you to this day.

8 but hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day. 9 For the Lord has driven out before you great and strong nations, and as for you, no one has been able to withstand you to this day.

8 But hold fast to Yahweh your God, just as you have done up to this day. 9 Yahweh has driven out before you great and strong nations; and as for you, nobody has withstood you to this day.

8 You must remain true to the Lord your God, just as you have done until now.

9 “The Lord has driven out great and powerful nations to make room for you. To this very day no one has been able to fight against you and win.

8 “But you are to cling to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day.

9 “For the Lord has driven out great and strong nations from before you; and as for you, no man has stood before you to this day.
