Job 41:7–10
7 Can you fill his skin with harpoons
or his head with fishing spears?
remember the battle—you will not do it again!
9 3 Behold, the hope of a man is false;
he is laid low even at the sight of him.
10 No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up.
Who then is he who can stand before me?
3 | Ch 41:1 in Hebrew |
Job 41:7–10 — The New International Version (NIV)
7 Can you fill its hide with harpoons
or its head with fishing spears?
8 If you lay a hand on it,
you will remember the struggle and never do it again!
9 Any hope of subduing it is false;
the mere sight of it is overpowering.
10 No one is fierce enough to rouse it.
Who then is able to stand against me?
Job 41:7–10 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? Or his head with fish spears? 8 Lay thine hand upon him, Remember the battle, do no more. 9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: Shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him? 10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: Who then is able to stand before me?
Job 41:7–10 — New Living Translation (NLT)
7 Will its hide be hurt by spears
or its head by a harpoon?
8 If you lay a hand on it,
you will certainly remember the battle that follows.
You won’t try that again!
9 No, it is useless to try to capture it.
The hunter who attempts it will be knocked down.
10 And since no one dares to disturb it,
who then can stand up to me?
Job 41:7–10 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

Who then is able to stand against Me?
Job 41:7–10 — New Century Version (NCV)

just seeing it overwhelms people.
10 No one is brave enough to make it angry,
so who would be able to stand up against me?
Job 41:7–10 — American Standard Version (ASV)

Will not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 None is so fierce that he dare stir him up;
Who then is he that can stand before me?
Job 41:7–10 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
7 Wilt thou fill his skin with darts, and his head with fish-spears? 8 Lay thy hand upon him; remember the battle, —do no more! 9 Lo, hope as to him is belied: is not one cast down even at the sight of him? 10 None is so bold as to stir him up; and who is he that will stand before me?
