17 Night pierces my bones;

my gnawing pains never rest.

18 In his great power God becomes like clothing to me;

he binds me like the neck of my garment.

17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: And my sinews take no rest. 18 By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: It bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

17 At night my bones are filled with pain,

which gnaws at me relentlessly.

18 With a strong hand, God grabs my shirt.

He grips me by the collar of my coat.

17 My bones are pierced in me at night,

And my gnawing pains take no rest.

18 By great force my garment is disfigured;

It binds me about as the collar of my coat.

17 At night my bones ache;

gnawing pains never stop.

18 In his great power God grabs hold of my clothing

and chokes me with the collar of my coat.

17 In the night season my bones are pierced in me,

And the pains that gnaw me take no rest.

18 By God’s great force is my garment disfigured;

It bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

17 The night pierceth through my bones and detacheth them from me, and my gnawing pains take no rest: 18 By their great force they have become my raiment; they bind me about as the collar of my coat.

17 At night God pierces my bones. 

My bodydoesn’t rest. 

18 With great strength he grabs my clothes. 

He seizes me by the collar of my robe.

18 My clothing is distorted with great force;

He chokes me by the neck of my garment.

17 The night racks my bones,

and the pain that gnaws me takes no rest.

18 With violence he seizes my garment;

he grasps me by the collar of my tunic.

17 At night I am in great pain;

my pains do not take a rest.

18 He seizes my clothing with great power;

he grasps me by my tunic’s collar.

17 At night my bones hurt.

My gnawing pains never stop.

18 God’s great power becomes like clothes to me.
