Jeremiah 13:24–25

24 “I will scatter you like chaff

driven by the desert wind.

25 This is your lot,

the portion I have decreed for you,”

declares the Lord,

“because you have forgotten me

and trusted in false gods.

24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness. 25 This is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the Lord; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.

24 “I will scatter you like chaff

that is blown away by the desert winds.

25 This is your allotment,

the portion I have assigned to you,”

says the Lord,

“for you have forgotten me,

putting your trust in false gods.

24 “Therefore I will scatter them like stubble

That passes away by the wind of the wilderness.

25 This is your lot,

The portion of your measures from Me,” says the Lord,

“Because you have forgotten Me

And trusted in falsehood.

24 “I will scatter you like chaff that is blown away by the desert wind.

25 This is what will happen to you;

this is your part in my plans,” says the Lord.

“Because you forgot me

and trusted in false gods,

24 Therefore will I scatter them, as the stubble that passeth away, by the wind of the wilderness. 25 This is thy lot, the portion measured unto thee from me, saith Jehovah; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.

24 And I will scatter them as stubble that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness. 25 This shall be thy lot, thy measured portion from me, saith Jehovah; because thou hast forgotten me, and confided in falsehood.

24 “I will scatter you like straw that is blown away by a desert wind. 

25 This is your fate, the destiny I have planned for you,” 

declares the Lord. 

“You have forgotten me and trusted false gods. 

24 I will scatter you like drifting chaff

before the desert wind.

25 This is your lot,

what I have decreed for you—

this is the Lord’s declaration—

because you have forgotten Me

and trusted in Falsehood.

24 I will scatter you like chaff

driven by the wind from the desert.

25 This is your lot,

the portion I have measured out to you, says the Lord,

because you have forgotten me

and trusted in lies.

24 And I will scatter them

like stubble scattered by the wind of the desert.

25 This is your lot,

the portion of your measure from me,” declares Yahweh,

“because you have forgotten me,

and you have trusted in the lie.

24 The Lord says, “I will scatter you like straw

that the desert wind blows away.

25 That is what will happen to you.

I have appointed it for you,”

announces the Lord.

“You have forgotten me.

You have trusted in other gods.

24 “Therefore I will scatter them like drifting straw

To the desert wind.

25 “This is your lot, the portion measured to you

From Me,” declares the Lord,

“Because you have forgotten Me

And trusted in falsehood.
