19 But am I the one they are provoking? declares the Lord. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?

19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

19 Am I the one they are hurting?” asks the Lord. “Most of all, they hurt themselves, to their own shame.”

19 Do they provoke Me to anger?” says the Lord. “Do they not provoke themselves, to the shame of their own faces?”

19 But I am not the one the people of Judah are really hurting, says the Lord. They are only hurting themselves and bringing shame upon themselves.

19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith Jehovah; do they not provoke themselves, to the confusion of their own faces?

19 Is it I whom they provoke to anger? saith Jehovah; is it not themselves, to the shame of their own face?

19 They aren’t really provoking me,” declares the Lord. “But they are ⸤harming⸥ themselves to their own shame. 

19 But are they really provoking Me?” This is the Lord’s declaration. “Isn’t it they themselves being provoked to disgrace?”

19 Is it I whom they provoke? says the Lord. Is it not themselves, to their own hurt?

19 Are they provoking me to anger? ” declares Yahweh, “Is it not themselves they hurt, for the sake of the shame of their faces?”

19 “But am I the one they are hurting?” announces the Lord. “Aren’t they only harming themselves? They should be ashamed of it.”

19 “Do they spite Me?” declares the Lord. “Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?”
