Jeremiah 30:14–15 — The New International Version (NIV)

14 All your allies have forgotten you;

they care nothing for you.

I have struck you as an enemy would

and punished you as would the cruel,

because your guilt is so great

and your sins so many.

15 Why do you cry out over your wound,

your pain that has no cure?

Because of your great guilt and many sins

I have done these things to you.

Jeremiah 30:14–15 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee;

They seek thee not;

For I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one,

For the multitude of thine iniquity;

Because thy sins were increased.

15 Why criest thou for thine affliction?

Thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity:

Because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

Jeremiah 30:14–15 — New Living Translation (NLT)

14 All your lovers—your allies—have left you

and do not care about you anymore.

I have wounded you cruelly,

as though I were your enemy.

For your sins are many,

and your guilt is great.

15 Why do you protest your punishment—

this wound that has no cure?

I have had to punish you

because your sins are many

and your guilt is great.

Jeremiah 30:14–15 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

They do not seek you;

For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy,

For the multitude of your iniquities,

Because your sins have increased.

15 Why do you cry about your affliction?

Your sorrow is incurable.

Because of the multitude of your iniquities,

Because your sins have increased,

I have done these things to you.

Jeremiah 30:14–15 — New Century Version (NCV)

14 All those nations who were your friends have forgotten you.

They don’t care about you.

I have hurt you as an enemy would.

I punished you very hard,

because your guilt was so great

and your sins were so many.

15 Why are you crying out about your injury?

There is no cure for your pain.

I did these things to you because of your great guilt,

because of your many sins.

Jeremiah 30:14–15 — American Standard Version (ASV)

14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not: for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased. 15 Why criest thou for thy hurt? thy pain is incurable: for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

For I have smitten thee with the stroke of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity: thy sins are manifold. 15 Why criest thou because of thy bruise? thy sorrow is incurable; for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins are manifold, I have done these things unto thee.

Jeremiah 30:14–15 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

14 All your lovers have forgotten you,

and they don’t want you anymore.

I’ve punished you as an enemy would.

I’ve corrected you as a cruel person would.

15 Why do you cry about your wound, your injury that can’t be cured?

I’ve done this to you.

You are very wicked, and you have many sins.

Your pain has no cure!

I have done these things to you

because of your enormous guilt
