Isaiah 65:8–10 — The New International Version (NIV)

This is what the Lord says:

“As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes

and people say, ‘Don’t destroy it,

there is still a blessing in it,’

so will I do in behalf of my servants;

I will not destroy them all.

I will bring forth descendants from Jacob,

and from Judah those who will possess my mountains;

my chosen people will inherit them,

and there will my servants live.

10 Sharon will become a pasture for flocks,

and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds,

for my people who seek me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

Thus saith the Lord,

As the new wine is found in the cluster,

And one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it:

So will I do for my servants’ sakes,

That I may not destroy them all.

And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob,

And out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains:

And mine elect shall inherit it,

And my servants shall dwell there.

10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks,

And the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in,

For my people that have sought me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — New Living Translation (NLT)

“But I will not destroy them all,”

says the Lord.

“For just as good grapes are found among a cluster of bad ones

(and someone will say, ‘Don’t throw them all away—

some of those grapes are good!’),

so I will not destroy all Israel.

For I still have true servants there.

I will preserve a remnant of the people of Israel

and of Judah to possess my land.

Those I choose will inherit it,

and my servants will live there.

10 The plain of Sharon will again be filled with flocks

for my people who have searched for me,

and the valley of Achor will be a place to pasture herds.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

Thus says the Lord:

“As the new wine is found in the cluster,

And one says, ‘Do not destroy it,

For a blessing is in it,’

So will I do for My servants’ sake,

That I may not destroy them all.

I will bring forth descendants from Jacob,

And from Judah an heir of My mountains;

My elect shall inherit it,

And My servants shall dwell there.

10 Sharon shall be a fold of flocks,

And the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down,

For My people who have sought Me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — New Century Version (NCV)

This is what the Lord says:

“When there is juice left in the grapes,

people do not destroy them,

because they know there is good left in them.

So I will do the same thing to my servants—

I will not completely destroy them.

I will leave some of the children of Jacob,

and some of the people of Judah will receive my mountain.

I will choose the people who will live there;

my servants will live there.

10 Then the Plain of Sharon will be a field for flocks,

and the Valley of Achor will be a place for herds to rest.

They will be for the people who want to follow me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — American Standard Version (ASV)

Thus saith Jehovah, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all. And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. 10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

Thus saith Jehovah: As the new wine is found in the cluster, and it is said, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all. And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah a possessor of my mountains; and mine elect shall possess it, and my servants shall dwell there. 10 And the Sharon shall be a fold for flocks, and the valley of Achor a couching-place of the herds, for my people that have sought me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

This is what the Lord says:

When someone finds juice for new wine in a cluster of grapes,

another person will say,

“Don’t destroy it, because there’s a blessing in it.”

In the same way, I will do this for my servants:

I will not destroy everything.

I will bring ⸤with me⸥ Jacob’s descendant,

one who will inherit my mountains from Judah.

My chosen ones will inherit them.

My servants will live there.

10 The Sharon Plain will be a pasture for flocks.

The Achor Valley will be a resting place for cattle

and for my people who search for me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

The Lord says this:

As the new wine is found in a bunch of grapes,

and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it,

for there’s some good in it,’

so I will act because of My servants

and not destroy them all.

I will produce descendants from Jacob,

and heirs to My mountains from Judah;

My chosen ones will possess it,

and My servants will dwell there.

10 Sharon will be a pasture for flocks,

and the Valley of Achor a place for cattle to lie down,

for My people who have sought Me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

Thus says the Lord:

As the wine is found in the cluster,

and they say, “Do not destroy it,

for there is a blessing in it,”

and not destroy them all.

I will bring forth descendants from Jacob,

and from Judah inheritors of my mountains;

my chosen shall inherit it,

and my servants shall settle there.

10 Sharon shall become a pasture for flocks,

and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down,

for my people who have sought me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

Thus says Yahweh: “Just as the new wine is found in the cluster, and they say ‘You must not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,’ so I will do for the sake of my servants by not destroying everyone.

And I will bring descendants out from Jacob,

and a people from Judah to take possession of my mountain,

and my chosen ones shall inherit it,

and my servants shall settle there.

10 And Sharon shall become a pasture for flocks,

and the valley of Achor a resting place for herds

for my people who have sought me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

The Lord says,

“Sometimes juice is still left in grapes that have been crushed.

So people say, ‘Don’t destroy them.

Some good juice is still left in them.’

That is what I will do for the good of those who serve me.

I will not destroy all of my people.

I will give children

to the families of Jacob and Judah.

They will possess my entire land.

My chosen people will be given all of it.

Those who serve me will live there.

10 Their flocks will eat in the rich grasslands of Sharon.

Their herds will rest in the Valley of Achor.

That is what I will do for my people who follow me.

Isaiah 65:8–10 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)

Thus says the Lord,

“As the new wine is found in the cluster,

And one says, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is benefit in it,’

So I will act on behalf of My servants

In order not to destroy all of them.

“I will bring forth offspring from Jacob,

And an heir of My mountains from Judah;

Even My chosen ones shall inherit it,

And My servants will dwell there.

10 Sharon will be a pasture land for flocks,

And the valley of Achor a resting place for herds,

For My people who seek Me.
