19 From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord,

and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory.

For he will come like a pent-up flood

that the breath of the Lord drives along.

20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion,

to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,”

declares the Lord.

21 “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.

19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west,

And his glory from the rising of the sun.

When the enemy shall come in like a flood,

The Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion,

And unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord;

My spirit that is upon thee,

And my words which I have put in thy mouth,

Shall not depart out of thy mouth,

Nor out of the mouth of thy seed,

Nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord,

From henceforth and for ever.

19 In the west, people will respect the name of the Lord;

in the east, they will glorify him.

For he will come like a raging flood tide

driven by the breath of the Lord.

20 “The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem

to buy back those in Israel

who have turned from their sins,”

says the Lord.

21 “And this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the Lord, have spoken!

19 So shall they fear

The name of the Lord from the west,

And His glory from the rising of the sun;

When the enemy comes in like a flood,

The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,”

Says the Lord.

21 “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”

19 Then people from the west will fear the Lord,

and people from the east will fear his glory.

The Lord will come quickly like a fast-flowing river,

driven by the breath of the Lord.

20 “Then a Savior will come to Jerusalem

and to the people of Jacob who have turned from sin,”

says the Lord.

21 The Lord says, “This is my agreement with these people: My Spirit and my words that I give you will never leave you or your children or your grandchildren, now and forever.”

19 So shall they fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Jehovah driveth. 20 And a Redeemer will come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Jehovah. 21 And as for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Jehovah: my Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seeds seed, saith Jehovah, from henceforth and for ever.

When the adversary shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Jehovah will lift up a banner against him. 20 And the Redeemer will come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Jehovah. 21 And as for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Jehovah: My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith Jehovah, from henceforth and for ever.

Those in the east will fear his glory. 

He will come like a rushing stream. 

The wind of the Lord pushes him. 

20 “Then a Savior will come to Zion, 

to those in Jacob who turn from rebellion,” declares the Lord. 

21 “This is my promiseto them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I put in your mouth will not leave you. They will be with your children and your grandchildren permanently,” says the Lord. 

19 They will fear the name of Yahweh in the west

and His glory in the east;

for He will come like a rushing stream

driven by the wind of the Lord.

20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion,

and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression.”

This is the Lord’s declaration.

21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, from now on and forever,” says the Lord.

to those in Jacob who turn away from transgression,”

declares Yahweh.

21 “And as for me, this is my covenant with them, says Yahweh:

my spirit that is upon you,

and my words that I have placed in your mouth

shall not depart from your mouth,

or from the mouths of your children,

or from the mouths of your children’s children,”

says Yahweh, “from now on and forever.”

19 People in the west will show respect for the Lord’s name.

People in the east will worship him because of his glory.

The Lord will come like a rushing river that was held back.

His breath will drive it along.

20 “I set my people free. I will come to Mount Zion.

I will come to those in Jacob’s family who turn away from their sins,”

announces the Lord.

21 “Here is the covenant I will make with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit is on you. I have put my words in your mouth. They will never leave your mouth. And they will never leave the mouths of your children or their children after them. That will be true for all time to come,” says the Lord.
