Isaiah 43:9–13 — The New International Version (NIV)
9 All the nations gather together
and the peoples assemble.
Which of their gods foretold this
and proclaimed to us the former things?
Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right,
so that others may hear and say, “It is true.”
10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
and apart from me there is no savior.
12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God.
13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he.
No one can deliver out of my hand.
When I act, who can reverse it?”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
9 Let all the nations be gathered together,
And let the people be assembled:
Who among them can declare this,
And shew us former things?
Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified:
Or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord,
And my servant whom I have chosen:
That ye may know and believe me,
And understand that I am he:
Before me there was no God formed,
Neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord;
And beside me there is no saviour.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed,
When there was no strange god among you:
Therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.
13 Yea, before the day was I am he;
And there is none that can deliver out of my hand:
I will work, and who shall let it?
Isaiah 43:9–13 — New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Gather the nations together!
Assemble the peoples of the world!
Which of their idols has ever foretold such things?
Which can predict what will happen tomorrow?
Where are the witnesses of such predictions?
Who can verify that they spoke the truth?
10 “But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord.
“You are my servant.
You have been chosen to know me, believe in me,
and understand that I alone am God.
There is no other God—
there never has been, and there never will be.
11 I, yes I, am the Lord,
and there is no other Savior.
12 First I predicted your rescue,
then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world.
No foreign god has ever done this.
You are witnesses that I am the only God,”
says the Lord.
13 “From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.
No one can undo what I have done.”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Let all the nations be gathered together,
And let the people be assembled.
Who among them can declare this,
And show us former things?
Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified;
Or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”
10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
And besides Me there is no savior.
12 I have declared and saved,
I have proclaimed,
And there was no foreign god among you;
Therefore you are My witnesses,”
Says the Lord, “that I am God.
13 Indeed before the day was, I am He;
And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand;
I work, and who will reverse it?”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — New Century Version (NCV)
9 All the nations gather together,
and all the people come together.
Which of their gods said this would happen?
Which of their gods can tell what happened in the beginning?
Let them bring their witnesses to prove they were right.
Then others will say, “It is true.”
10 The Lord says, “You are my witnesses
and the servant I chose.
I chose you so you would know and believe me,
so you would understand that I am the true God.
There was no God before me,
and there will be no God after me.
11 I myself am the Lord;
I am the only Savior.
12 I myself have spoken to you, saved you, and told you these things.
It was not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses, and I am God,”
says the Lord.
13 “I have always been God.
No one can save people from my power;
when I do something, no one can change it.”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — American Standard Version (ASV)
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, It is truth. 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour. 12 I have declared, and I have saved, and I have showed; and there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and I am God. 13 Yea, since the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who can hinder it?
Isaiah 43:9–13 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them declareth this, or causeth us to hear former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, It is truth. 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am HE: before me there was no •God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, I am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour. 12 It is I that have declared, and have saved, and have shewed, when there was no strange god among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, that I am •God. 13 Yea, since the day was, I am HE, and there is none that delivereth out of my hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it?
Isaiah 43:9–13 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
9 All nations have gathered together, and people have assembled.
Who among them could have revealed this?
Who among them could have foretold this to us?
They should bring their witnesses to prove that they were right.
Let the people hear them. Then they will say that it is true.
10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord.
“I have chosen you as my servant
so that you can know and believe in me
and understand that I am the one ⸤who did this⸥.
No god was formed before me,
and there will be none after me.
11 I alone am the Lord,
and there is no savior except me.
12 I have revealed it to you, I have saved you,
and I have announced it to you.
There was no foreign ⸤god⸥ among you.
You are my witnesses that I am God,” declares the Lord.
13 “From the ⸤first⸥ day I was the one ⸤who did this⸥.
No one can rescue people from my power.
When I do something, who can undo it?”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
9 All the nations are gathered together,
and the peoples are assembled.
Who among them can declare this,
and tell us the former things?
Let them present their witnesses
to vindicate themselves,
so that people may hear and say, “It is true.”
10 “You are My witnesses” —
this is the Lord’s declaration—

and there will be none after Me.
11 I, I am Yahweh,
and there is no other Savior but Me.
12 I alone declared, saved, and proclaimed—

13 Also, from today on I am He alone,
and none can deliver from My hand.
I act, and who can reverse it?”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me

Before me no god was formed,
nor shall there be any after me.
11 I, I am the Lord,
and besides me there is no savior.
12 I declared and saved and proclaimed,
when there was no strange god among you;
and you are my witnesses, says the Lord.
13 I am God, and also henceforth I am He;
there is no one who can deliver from my hand;
I work and who can hinder it?
Isaiah 43:9–13 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)
9 Let all the nations gather together,

I perform, and who can cancel it?”
Isaiah 43:9–13 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)
9 All of the nations are gathering together.
All of them are coming.
Which one of their gods said ahead of time
that the people of Israel would return?
Which of them told us anything at all about the past?
Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right.
Then others will hear them. And they will say,
“What they said is true.”
10 “People of Israel, you are my witnesses,” announces the Lord.
“I have chosen you to be my servants.
I wanted you to know me and believe in me.

And there will not be any god after me.
11 I am the one and only Lord.
I am the only one who can save you.
12 I have made known what would happen.
I told you about it. And I saved you.
I did it. It was not some other god you worship.
You are my witnesses that I am God,” announces the Lord.
13 “And that is not all! I have always been God,
and I always will be.
No one can save people from my powerful hand.
When I do something, who can undo it?”
