1 The Lord will have compassion on Jacob;

once again he will choose Israel

and will settle them in their own land.

Foreigners will join them

and unite with the descendants of Jacob.

1 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob,

And will yet choose Israel,

And set them in their own land:

And the strangers shall be joined with them,

And they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

1 But the Lord will have mercy on the descendants of Jacob. He will choose Israel as his special people once again. He will bring them back to settle once again in their own land. And people from many different nations will come and join them there and unite with the people of Israel.

1 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob.

1 The Lord will show mercy to the people of Jacob, and he will again choose the people of Israel. He will settle them in their own land. Then non-Israelite people will join the Israelites and will become a part of the family of Jacob.

1 For Jehovah will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the sojourner shall join himself with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

1 For Jehovah will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in rest in their own land; and the stranger shall be united to them, and they shall be joined to the house of Jacob.

1 The Lord will have compassion for Jacob and again choose Israel. 

He will resettle them in their own country.

1 But the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and will set them in their own land; and aliens will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

1 But Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob,

and he will again choose Israel

and set them on their land,

and the immigrant will join himself to them,

and they will attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

1 The Lord will show tender love toward Jacob’s people.

Once again he will choose Israel.

He’ll settle them in their own land.

Outsiders will join them.

They and the people of Jacob will become one people.

1 When the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and again choose Israel, and settle them in their own land, then strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.
