Hosea 2:20–22

20 I will betroth you in faithfulness,

and you will acknowledge the Lord.

21 “In that day I will respond,”

declares the Lord—

“I will respond to the skies,

and they will respond to the earth;

22 and the earth will respond to the grain,

the new wine and the olive oil,

and they will respond to Jezreel.

20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness:

And thou shalt know the Lord.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day,

I will hear, saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens,

And they shall hear the earth;

22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil;

And they shall hear Jezreel.

20 I will be faithful to you and make you mine,

and you will finally know me as the Lord.

21 “In that day, I will answer,”

says the Lord.

“I will answer the sky as it pleads for clouds.

And the sky will answer the earth with rain.

22 Then the earth will answer the thirsty cries

of the grain, the grapevines, and the olive trees.

And they in turn will answer,

‘Jezreel’—‘God plants!’

20 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness,

And you shall know the Lord.

21 “It shall come to pass in that day

That I will answer,” says the Lord;

“I will answer the heavens,

And they shall answer the earth.

22 The earth shall answer

With grain,

With new wine,

And with oil;

They shall answer Jezreel.

20 I will be true to you as my promised bride,

and you will know the Lord.

21 “At that time I will speak to you,” says the Lord.

“I will speak to the skies,

and they will give rain to the earth.

22 The earth will produce grain, new wine, and oil;

much will grow because my people are called Jezreel.

20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness; and thou shalt know Jehovah.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will answer, saith Jehovah, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth; 22 and the earth shall answer the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they shall answer Jezreel.

20 and I will betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know Jehovah. 21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith Jehovah, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; 22 and the earth shall hear the corn, and the new wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jizreel.

20 I will be true to you, my wife. 

Then you will know the Lord. 

21 “On that day I will answer your ⸤prayers⸥,” declares the Lord. 

“I will speak to the sky, 

it will speak to the earth, 

22 and the earth will produce grain, new wine, and olive oil. 

You will produce many crops, Jezreel. 

20 I will take you to be My wife in faithfulness,

and you will know Yahweh.

21 On that day I will respond —

this is the Lord’s declaration.

I will respond to the sky,

and it will respond to the earth.

22 The earth will respond to the grain,

the new wine, and the oil,

and they will respond to Jezreel.

20 I will take you for my wife in faithfulness, and you shall know the Lord.

21 On that day I will answer, says the Lord,

I will answer the heavens,

and they shall answer the earth,

22 and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil,

and they shall answer Jezreel,

20 I will take you as my wife in faithfulness,

and you will know Yahweh.

21 On that day I will answer, declares Yahweh,

I will answer the heavens,

and they will answer the earth.

22 And the earth will answer

the grain, the wine, and the oil,

and they will answer Jezreel.

20 I will be faithful to her.

And she will recognize me as the Lord.

21 “So at that time I will answer her,”

announces the Lord.

“I will command the skies

to send rain on the earth.

22 Then the earth will produce grain, olive oil and fresh wine.

And Israel will be called Jezreel.

That is because I will answer her prayers.

20 And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness.

Then you will know the Lord.

21 “It will come about in that day that I will respond,” declares the Lord.

“I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth,

22 And the earth will respond to the grain, to the new wine and to the oil,

And they will respond to Jezreel.
