Ezekiel 48:23–30

23 “As for the rest of the tribes: Benjamin will have one portion; it will extend from the east side to the west side.

24 “Simeon will have one portion; it will border the territory of Benjamin from east to west.

25 “Issachar will have one portion; it will border the territory of Simeon from east to west.

26 “Zebulun will have one portion; it will border the territory of Issachar from east to west.

27 “Gad will have one portion; it will border the territory of Zebulun from east to west.

28 “The southern boundary of Gad will run south from Tamar to the waters of Meribah Kadesh, then along the Wadi of Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea.

29 “This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these will be their portions,” declares the Sovereign Lord.

30 “These will be the exits of the city: Beginning on the north side, which is 4,500 cubits long,

23 As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion. 24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion. 25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion. 26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion. 27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion. 28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea. 29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord God.

30 And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.

23 “These are the territories allotted to the rest of the tribes. Benjamin’s territory lies just south of the prince’s lands, and it extends across the entire land of Israel from east to west. 24 South of Benjamin’s territory lies that of Simeon, also extending across the land from east to west. 25 Next is the territory of Issachar with the same eastern and western boundaries.

26 “Then comes the territory of Zebulun, which also extends across the land from east to west. 27 The territory of Gad is just south of Zebulun with the same borders to the east and west. 28 The southern border of Gad runs from Tamar to the waters of Meribah at Kadesh and then follows the Brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean.

29 “These are the allotments that will be set aside for each tribe’s exclusive possession. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!

30 “These will be the exits to the city: On the north wall, which is 1½ miles long,

23 “As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west, Benjamin shall have one section; 24 by the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, Simeon shall have one section; 25 by the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west, Issachar shall have one section; 26 by the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west, Zebulun shall have one section; 27 by the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, Gad shall have one section; 28 by the border of Gad, on the south side, toward the South, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribah by Kadesh, along the brook to the Great Sea. 29 This is the land which you shall divide by lot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions,” says the Lord God.

30 “These are the exits of the city. On the north side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits

23 “Here is what the rest of the tribes will receive: Benjamin will have one share. It will go from the east side to the Mediterranean Sea on the west side.

24 “South of Benjamin’s land, Simeon will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

25 “South of Simeon’s land, Issachar will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

26 “South of Issachar’s land, Zebulun will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

27 “South of Zebulun’s land, Gad will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

28 “The southern border of Gad’s land will go east from Tamar on the Dead Sea to the waters of Meribah Kadesh. Then it will run along the brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea.

29 “This is the land you will divide among the tribes of Israel to be their shares,” says the Lord God.

30 “These will be the outside borders of the city: The north side will measure more than one mile.

23 And as for the rest of the tribes: from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin, one portion. 24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon, one portion. 25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar, one portion. 26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun, one portion. 27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad, one portion. 28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, unto the great sea. 29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, saith the Lord Jehovah.

30 And these are the egresses of the city: On the north side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure;

23 And as for the rest of the tribes: from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin one portion. 24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon one. 25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar one. 26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun one. 27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad one. 28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, by the torrent, unto the great sea. 29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord Jehovah. 30 And these are the goings out of the city. On the north side, four thousand and five hundred cubits by measure.

23 This is what the rest of the tribes will receive: Benjamin will have one part of the land. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

24 Simeon will have one part of the land and border Benjamin on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

25 Issachar will have one part of the land and border Simeon on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

26 Zebulun will have one part of the land and border Issachar on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

27 Gad will have one part of the land and border Zebulun on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

28 The southern border of Gad will run south from Tamar to the oasis at Meribah in Kadesh, and it will run along the Brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. 29 This is the land you will divide as your inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their areas, declares the Almighty Lord. 

30 These will be the exits for the city: The north side will be 7,875 feet long.

23 “As for the rest of the tribes:

From the east side to the west, will be Benjamin—one portion.

24 Next to the territory of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, will be Simeon—one portion.

25 Next to the territory of Simeon, from the east side to the west, will be Issachar—one portion.

26 Next to the territory of Issachar, from the east side to the west, will be Zebulun—one portion.

27 Next to the territory of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, will be Gad—one portion.

28 Next to the territory of Gad toward the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt, and out to the Mediterranean Sea. 29 This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to Israel’s tribes, and these will be their portions.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

30 “These are the exits of the city:

On the north side, which measures 1½ miles,

23 As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west, Benjamin, one portion. 24 Adjoining the territory of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, Simeon, one portion. 25 Adjoining the territory of Simeon, from the east side to the west, Issachar, one portion. 26 Adjoining the territory of Issachar, from the east side to the west, Zebulun, one portion. 27 Adjoining the territory of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, Gad, one portion. 28 And adjoining the territory of Gad to the south, the boundary shall run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, from there along the Wadi of Egypt to the Great Sea. 29 This is the land that you shall allot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, says the Lord God.

30 These shall be the exits of the city: On the north side, which is to be four thousand five hundred cubits by measure,

23 And for the remainder of the tribes: From the side on the east up to the side on the west, Benjamin one portion; 24 and next to the territory of Benjamin, from the side on the east up to the side of the sea, Simeon one portion; 25 and next to the territory of Simeon, from the side of the east up to the side of the sea, Issachar one portion; 26 and next to the territory of Issachar, from the side of the east up to the side of the sea, Zebulun one portion; 27 and next to the territory of Zebulun, from the side of the east up to the side of the sea, Gad one portion; 28 and next to the territory of Gad, to the side of the south, southward; and the territory will be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, toward the wadi, on to the Great Sea. 29 This is the land that you shall allot as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions,” declares the Lord Yahweh.

30 And these shall be the exits of the city: From the north side, four thousand and five hundred cubits by measurement.

23 “Here is the land for the rest of the tribes. Benjamin will receive one share. It will reach from the eastern border to the western border.

24 “Simeon will receive one share. It will border the territory of Benjamin from east to west.

25 “Issachar will receive one share. It will border the territory of Simeon from east to west.

26 “Zebulun will receive one share. It will border the territory of Issachar from east to west.

27 “Gad will receive one share. It will border the territory of Zebulun from east to west.

28 “The southern border of Gad will run south from Tamar to the waters of Meribah Kadesh. It will continue along the Wadi of Egypt. It will end at the Mediterranean Sea.

29 “That is the land you must divide among the tribes of Israel. And those will be the shares they will receive,” announces the Lord and King.

30 “Here is a list of the gates of the city. Start with its north side. It will be a mile and a half long.

23 “As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one portion.

24 “Beside the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one portion.

25 “Beside the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one portion.

26 “Beside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one portion.

27 “Beside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one portion.

28 “And beside the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the Great Sea.

29 “This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their several portions,” declares the Lord God.

30 “These are the exits of the city: on the north side, 4,500 cubits by measurement,
