Ezekiel 41:8–11

8 I saw that the temple had a raised base all around it, forming the foundation of the side rooms. It was the length of the rod, six long cubits. 9 The outer wall of the side rooms was five cubits thick. The open area between the side rooms of the temple 10 and the priests’ rooms was twenty cubits wide all around the temple. 11 There were entrances to the side rooms from the open area, one on the north and another on the south; and the base adjoining the open area was five cubits wide all around.

8 I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. 9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within. 10 And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side. 11 And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.

8 I saw that the Temple was built on a terrace, which provided a foundation for the side rooms. This terrace was 10½ feet high. 9 The outer wall of the Temple’s side rooms was 8¾ feet thick. This left an open area between these side rooms 10 and the row of rooms along the outer wall of the inner courtyard. This open area was 35 feet wide, and it went all the way around the Temple. 11 Two doors opened from the side rooms into the terrace yard, which was 8¾ feet wide. One door faced north and the other south.

8 I also saw an elevation all around the temple; it was the foundation of the side chambers, a full rod, that is, six cubits high. 9 The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits, and so also the remaining terrace by the place of the side chambers of the temple. 10 And between it and the wall chambers was a width of twenty cubits all around the temple on every side. 11 The doors of the side chambers opened on the terrace, one door toward the north and another toward the south; and the width of the terrace was five cubits all around.

8 I also saw that the Temple had a raised base all around. Its edge was the foundation for the side rooms, and it was ten and one-half feet thick. 9 The outer wall of the side rooms was about nine feet thick. There was an open area between the side rooms of the Temple 10 and some other rooms. It was thirty-five feet wide and went all around the Temple. 11 The side rooms had doors which led to the open area around the outside of the Temple. One door faced north, and the other faced south. The open area was about nine feet wide all around.

8 I saw also that the house had a raised basement round about: the foundations of the side-chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. 9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers, on the outside, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side-chambers that belonged to the house. 10 And between the chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house on every side. 11 And the doors of the side-chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.

8 And I saw that the house had an elevation round about: the foundations of the side-chambers, a full reed, six cubits to the joint. 9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers without, was five cubits, as also what was left free along the building of the side-chambers that pertained to the house. 10 And between the cells and the house was a width of twenty cubits round about the house on every side. 11 And the entry of the side-chambers was toward what was left free, one entry toward the north, and one entry toward the south; and the width of the space left free was five cubits round about.

8 I also saw a raised base all around the temple. This base was the foundation for the side rooms. It measured the full length of the measuring rod, 10½ feet. 9 The outer wall of the side rooms was 9 feet thick. There was an open area between the side rooms connected to the temple 10 and the priests’ rooms. It was 35 feet wide and went all around the temple. 11 The doors in the side rooms were entrances into the open area. There was one door to the north and another to the south. The base of the open area was 9 feet wide all the way around. 

8 I saw that the temple had a raised platform surrounding it; this foundation for the side rooms was 10½ feet high. 9 The thickness of the outer wall of the side rooms was 8¾ feet. The free space between the side rooms of the temple 10 and the outer chambers was 35 feet wide all around the temple. 11 The side rooms opened into the free space, one entrance toward the north and another to the south. The area of free space was 8¾ feet wide all around.

8 I saw also that the temple was on a raised platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers measured a full reed of six long cubits high. 9 The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits, and the free space between the side chambers of the temple 10 and the chambers of the court was a width of twenty cubits all around the temple on every side. 11 The side chambers opened onto the area left free, one door toward the north and another door toward the south, and the width of the part that was left free was five cubits all around.

8 And I saw for the temple a platform all the way around the foundations of the side rooms; it was the length of a full reed, six cubits long. 9 The width of the outside wall, which was for the side room to the outside, was five cubits, and a space that was set between the side rooms, which was for the temple 10 and between the chambers was the width of twenty cubits all around the temple, all the way around it. 11 And the doorway of the side room faced the open area; one doorway faced the north, and one doorway was to the south, and the width of the place of the open area was five cubits all around.

8 I saw that the temple had a raised base all around it. The base formed the foundation of the side rooms. It was as long as one measuring rod. So it was ten and a half feet long. 9 The outer wall of each side room was almost nine feet thick. The open area between the side rooms of the temple 10 and the priests’ rooms was 35 feet wide all around the temple. 11 The side rooms had entrances from the open area. One was on the north side. Another was on the south. The base next to the open area was almost nine feet wide all around.

9 The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits. But the free space between the side chambers belonging to the temple

10 and the outer chambers was twenty cubits in width all around the temple on every side.

11 The doorways of the side chambers toward the free space consisted of one doorway toward the north and another doorway toward the south; and the width of the free space was five cubits all around.
