6 This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Gaza,

even for four, I will not relent.

Because she took captive whole communities

and sold them to Edom,

7 I will send fire on the walls of Gaza

that will consume her fortresses.

6 Thus saith the Lord;

For three transgressions of Gaza,

And for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;

Because they carried away captive the whole captivity,

To deliver them up to Edom:

7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza,

Which shall devour the palaces thereof:

6 This is what the Lord says:

“The people of Gaza have sinned again and again,

and I will not let them go unpunished!

They sent whole villages into exile,

selling them as slaves to Edom.

7 So I will send down fire on the walls of Gaza,

and all its fortresses will be destroyed.

6 Thus says the Lord:

“For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four,

I will not turn away its punishment,

Because they took captive the whole captivity

To deliver them up to Edom.

7 But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza,

Which shall devour its palaces.

6 This is what the Lord says:

“For the many crimes of Gaza,

I will punish them.

They sold all the people of one area

as slaves to Edom.

7 So I will send a fire on the walls of Gaza

that will destroy the city’s strong buildings.

6 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gaza, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole people, to deliver them up to Edom. 7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

6 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gazah, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom. 7 And I will send a fire on the wall of Gazah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

6 This is what the Lord says: 

Because Gaza has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, 

I will not change my plans. 

The Philistines have taken all the people captive 

in order to hand them over to the Edomites. 

7 I will send a fire on the walls of Gaza 

and burn down its palaces. 

6 The Lord says:

I will not relent from punishing Gaza

for three crimes, even four,

because they exiled a whole community,

handing them over to Edom.

7 Therefore, I will send fire against the walls of Gaza,

and it will consume its citadels.

6 Thus says the Lord:

For three transgressions of Gaza,

and for four, I will not revoke the punishment;

because they carried into exile entire communities,

to hand them over to Edom.

7 So I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza,

fire that shall devour its strongholds.

6 Thus says Yahweh: “For three transgressions of Gaza and for four I will not revoke the punishment, because they exiled a whole community, handing them over to Edom! 7 So I will send a fire against the wall of Gaza and it will devour its citadel fortresses.

6 The Lord says,

“The people of Gaza have sinned again and again.

So I will punish them.

They captured whole communities.

They sold them to Edom.

7 So I will send fire to destroy the walls of Gaza.

It will burn up its forts.

6 Thus says the Lord,

“For three transgressions of Gaza and for four

I will not revoke its punishment,

Because they deported an entire population

To deliver it up to Edom.

7 “So I will send fire upon the wall of Gaza

And it will consume her citadels.
