4 I will send fire on the house of Hazael

that will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.

5 I will break down the gate of Damascus;

I will destroy the king who is in the Valley of Aven

and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden.

The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,”

says the Lord.

4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael,

Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

5 I will break also the bar of Damascus,

And cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven,

And him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden:

And the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the Lord.

4 So I will send down fire on King Hazael’s palace,

and the fortresses of King Ben-hadad will be destroyed.

5 I will break down the gates of Damascus

and slaughter the people in the valley of Aven.

I will destroy the ruler in Beth-eden,

and the people of Aram will go as captives to Kir,”

says the Lord.

4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael,

Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

5 I will also break the gate bar of Damascus,

And cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Aven,

And the one who holds the scepter from Beth Eden.

The people of Syria shall go captive to Kir,”

Says the Lord.

4 So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael

that will destroy the strong towers of Ben-Hadad.

5 I will break down the bar of the gate to Damascus

and destroy the king who is in the Valley of Aven,

as well as the leader of Beth Eden.

The people of Aram will be taken captive to the country of Kir,” says the Lord.

4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad. 5 And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Jehovah.

4 And I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad. 5 And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Beth-Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Jehovah.

4 I will send a fire on the house of Hazael 

and burn down the palaces of Ben Hadad. 

5 I will break the bars ⸤on the gates⸥ of Damascus. 

I will cut off those living in Aven Valley 

and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden. 

The people of Aram will go into captivity at Kir. 

The Lord has said this. 

4 Therefore, I will send fire against Hazael’s palace,

and it will consume Ben-hadad’s citadels.

5 I will break down the gates of Damascus.

I will cut off the ruler from the Valley of Aven,

and the one who wields the scepter from Beth-eden.

The people of Aram will be exiled to Kir.

The Lord has spoken.

4 So I will send a fire on the house of Hazael,

and it shall devour the strongholds of Ben-hadad.

5 I will break the gate bars of Damascus

and cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven

and the one who holds the scepter from Beth-eden,

and the people of Aram shall go into exile to Kir,

says the Lord.

4 So I will send fire against Hazael’s house and it will consume the citadel fortresses of Ben-Hadad. 5 I will break the gate bars of Damascus and I will cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven and the one who takes hold of the scepter of Beth Eden, and the people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,” says Yahweh.

4 So I will send fire to destroy the palace of King Hazael.

It will burn up the forts of his son Ben-Hadad.

5 I will break down the city gate of Damascus.

I will cut off the king

who lives in the Valley of Aven.

He holds the ruler’s rod in Beth Eden.

The people of Aram will be taken away to Kir as prisoners,”

says the Lord.

4 “So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael

And it will consume the citadels of Ben-hadad.

5 “I will also break the gate bar of Damascus,

And cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven,

And him who holds the scepter, from Beth-eden;

So the people of Aram will go exiled to Kir,”

Says the Lord.
