There is no need for me to write to you about this service to the Lord’s people. For I know your eagerness to help, and I have been boasting about it to the Macedonians, telling them that since last year you in Achaia were ready to give; and your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action.

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — New Living Translation (NLT)

I really don’t need to write to you about this ministry of giving for the believers in Jerusalem. For I know how eager you are to help, and I have been boasting to the churches in Macedonia that you in Greece were ready to send an offering a year ago. In fact, it was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of the Macedonian believers to begin giving.

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — New Century Version (NCV)

I really do not need to write you about this help for God’s people. I know you want to help. 2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — American Standard Version (ASV)

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

I don’t need to write anything further to you about helping the Christians ⸤in Jerusalem⸥. I know how willing you are to help, and I brag about you to the believers in the province of Macedonia. I tell them, “The people of Greece have been ready ⸤to send their collection⸥ since last year,” and your enthusiasm has moved most of them ⸤to act⸥.

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

I don’t need to write to you about giving to God’s people. I know how much you want to help. I have been bragging about it to the people in Macedonia. 2 Corinthians 9:1–2 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)
