40 “Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

41 “Now arise, Lord God, and come to your resting place,

you and the ark of your might.

May your priests, Lord God, be clothed with salvation,

may your faithful people rejoice in your goodness.

42 Lord God, do not reject your anointed one.

Remember the great love promised to David your servant.”

40 Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 41 Now therefore arise, O Lord God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness. 42 O Lord God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.

40 “O my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to all the prayers made to you in this place.

41 “And now arise, O Lord God, and enter your resting place,

along with the Ark, the symbol of your power.

May your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation;

may your loyal servants rejoice in your goodness.

42 O Lord God, do not reject the king you have anointed.

Remember your unfailing love for your servant David.”

40 Now, my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and let Your ears be attentive to the prayer made in this place.

41 “Now therefore,

Arise, O Lord God, to Your resting place,

You and the ark of Your strength.

Let Your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation,

And let Your saints rejoice in goodness.

42 “O Lord God, do not turn away the face of Your Anointed;

Remember the mercies of Your servant David.”

40 “Now, my God, look at us. Listen to the prayers we pray in this place.

41 Now, rise, Lord God, and come to your resting place.

Come with the Ark of the Agreement that shows your strength.

Let your priests receive your salvation, Lord God,

and may your holy people be happy because of your goodness.

42 Lord God, do not reject your appointed one.

Remember your love for your servant David.”

40 Now, my God, I beseech thee, let thine eyes be open and let thine ears be attentive unto the prayer that is made in this place. 41 And now, arise, Jehovah Elohim, into thy resting-place, thou and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, Jehovah Elohim, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in thy goodness. 42 Jehovah Elohim, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember mercies to David thy servant.

40 “Finally, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive 

to the prayers ⸤offered⸥ in this place. 

41 “Now arise, and come to your resting place, Lord God— 

you and the ark of your power. 

Clothe your priests, Lord God, with salvation. 

Let your godly ones rejoice in what is good. 

42 Lord God, do not reject your anointed one. 

Remember your mercy to your servant David!”

and Your ears attentive

to the prayer of this place.

41 Now therefore:

You and Your powerful ark.

May Your priests, Lord God, be clothed with salvation,

and may Your godly people rejoice in goodness.

remember the loyalty of Your servant David.

41 “Now rise up, O Lord God, and go to your resting place,

you and the ark of your might.

Let your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation,

and let your faithful rejoice in your goodness.

Remember your steadfast love for your servant David.”

40 Now, O my God, please let your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayer of this place!

41 “And now arise, O Yahweh God, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength! O Yahweh God, let the priests be clothed with salvation, and let your holy ones rejoice in your goodness! 42 O Yahweh God, do not turn away the face of your anointed one! Remember the loyal love of your servant, David!”

40 “My God, let your eyes see us. Let your ears pay attention to the prayers that are offered in this place.

41 “Lord God, rise up and come to your resting place.

Come in together with the ark.

It’s the sign of your power.

Lord God, may your priests put on salvation as if it were their clothes.

May your faithful people be glad because you are so good.

42 Lord God, don’t turn your back on your anointed king.

Remember the great love you promised to your servant David.”
