2 Kings 19:33–34

33 By the way that he came he will return;

he will not enter this city,

declares the Lord.

34 I will defend this city and save it,

for my sake and for the sake of David my servant.’ ”

33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return,

And shall not come into this city, saith the Lord.

34 For I will defend this city, to save it,

For mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

33 The king will return to his own country

by the same road on which he came.

He will not enter this city,

says the Lord.

34 For my own honor and for the sake of my servant David,

I will defend this city and protect it.”

33 By the way that he came,

By the same shall he return;

And he shall not come into this city,’

Says the Lord.

34 ‘For I will defend this city, to save it

For My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’ ”

33 He will return to his country the same way he came,

and he will not enter this city,’

says the Lord.

34 ‘I will defend and save this city

for my sake and for the sake of David, my servant.’ ”

33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith Jehovah. 34 For I will defend this city to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, And shall not come into this city, saith Jehovah. 34 And I will defend this city, to save it, For mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

33 He will go back the way he came, 

and he won’t come into this city,” 

declares the Lord of Armies. 

34 “I will shield this city to rescue it for my sake 

and for the sake of my servant David.” 

33 He will go back

on the road that he came

and he will not enter this city.

This is the Lord’s declaration.

34 I will defend this city and rescue it

for My sake and for the sake of My servant David.”

33 By the way that he came, by the same he shall return; he shall not come into this city, says the Lord. 34 For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David.”

33 By the way that he came to her he shall return; but to this city, he shall not come,” declares Yahweh. 34 And I will defend this city to save her for my sake and for the sake of David my servant.’ ”

33 By the same way he came he will go home.

He will not enter this city,’

announces the Lord.

34 “ ‘I will guard this city and save it.

I will do it for myself. And I will do it for my servant David.’ ”

33 “By the way that he came, by the same he will return, and he shall not come to this city,” ’ declares the Lord.

34 ‘For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’ ”
