1 Kings 9:13–14

13 “What kind of towns are these you have given me, my brother?” he asked. And he called them the Land of Kabul, a name they have to this day. 14 Now Hiram had sent to the king 120 talents of gold.

13 And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day. 14 And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold.

13 “What kind of towns are these, my brother?” he asked. So Hiram called that area Cabul (which means “worthless”), as it is still known today. 14 Nevertheless, Hiram paid Solomon 9,000 pounds of gold.

13 So he said, “What kind of cities are these which you have given me, my brother?” And he called them the land of Cabul, as they are to this day. 14 Then Hiram sent the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold.

13 He asked, “What good are these towns you have given me, my brother?” So he named them the Land of Cabul, and they are still called that today. 14 Hiram had sent Solomon about nine thousand pounds of gold.

13 And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day. 14 And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold.

13 And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul to this day. 14 And Hiram had sent to the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold.

13 “What kind of cities have you given me, brother?” he asked. So he named it the region of Cabul [Good for Nothing]. (⸤They’re⸥ still ⸤called⸥ that today.) 14 Hiram had sent the king 9,000 pounds of gold. 

13 So he said, “What are these towns you’ve given me, my brother?” So he called them the Land of Cabul, as they are still called today. 14 Now Hiram had sent the king 9,000 pounds of gold.

13 Therefore he said, “What kind of cities are these that you have given me, my brother?” So they are called the land of Cabul to this day. 14 But Hiram had sent to the king one hundred twenty talents of gold.

13 So he said, “What are these cities that you have given to me, my brother?” So they are called the land of Cabul until this day. 14 Then Hiram sent to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold.

13 “My friend,” he asked, “what have you given me? What kind of towns are these?” So he called them the Land of Cabul. And that’s what they are still called to this very day. 14 Hiram had sent four and a half tons of gold to Solomon.

13 He said, “What are these cities which you have given me, my brother?” So they were called the land of Cabul to this day.

14 And Hiram sent to the king 120 talents of gold.
