16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.

16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16 And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body?

16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?

16 The ear might say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not part of the body.” But saying this would not stop the ear from being a part of the body.

16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body.

16 And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

16 Or suppose an ear says, “I’m not an eye, so I’m not a part of the body!” Would that mean it’s no longer part of the body?

16 And if the ear should say, “Because I’m not an eye, I don’t belong to the body,” in spite of this it still belongs to the body.

16 And if the ear would say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.

16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” not because of this is it not a part of the body.

16 And suppose the ear says, “I am not an eye. So I don’t belong to the body.” It is still part of the body.

16 And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body.
