1 Corinthians 10:6–7
1 Corinthians 10:6–7 — The New International Version (NIV)
6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”
1 Corinthians 10:6–7 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
1 Corinthians 10:6–7 — New Living Translation (NLT)
6 These things happened as a warning to us, so that we would not crave evil things as they did, 7 or worship idols as some of them did. As the Scriptures say, “The people celebrated with feasting and drinking, and they indulged in pagan revelry.”
1 Corinthians 10:6–7 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. 7 And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”
1 Corinthians 10:6–7 — New Century Version (NCV)

1 Corinthians 10:6–7 — American Standard Version (ASV)
