You have provoked my anger by causing my people Israel to sin. 3 So now I will destroy you and your family, just as I destroyed the descendants of Jeroboam son of Nebat. 4 The members of Baasha’s family who die in the city will be eaten by dogs, and those who die in the field will be eaten by vultures.”
1 Kings 16:1–4 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

But you have followed the ways of Jeroboam and have led my people Israel to sin. Their sins have made me angry, 3 so, Baasha, I will soon destroy you and your family. I will do to you what I did to the family of Jeroboam son of Nebat. 4 Anyone from your family who dies in the city will be eaten by dogs, and anyone from your family who dies in the fields will be eaten by birds.”

You have led my people to sin, and their sins make me furious. 3 So I will destroy Baasha and his family. I will make his family like the family of Jeroboam (Nebat’s son). 4 Dogs will eat anyone from Baasha’s ⸤family⸥ who dies in the city. Birds will eat anyone from his ⸤family⸥ who dies in the country.”

I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat. 4 The one belonging to Baasha who dies in the city, the dogs will eat; and the one belonging to him who dies in the field, the birds of the heavens will eat.”
