1 Chronicles 2:6–7

6 The sons of Zerah:

Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Kalkol and Darda—five in all.

7 The son of Karmi:

Achar, who brought trouble on Israel by violating the ban on taking devoted things.

6 And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all. 7 And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

6 The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Darda—five in all.

7 The son of Carmi (a descendant of Zimri) was Achan, who brought disaster on Israel by taking plunder that had been set apart for the Lord.

6 The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara—five of them in all.

7 The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the accursed thing.

6 Zerah had five sons: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Darda.

7 Carmi’s son was Achan, who caused trouble for Israel because he took things that had been given to the Lord to be destroyed.

6 And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; five of them in all. 7 And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.

6 Zerah’s sons were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara—five in all. 7 Carmi’s son was Achar, who caused trouble for Israel by taking goods that were claimed by God.

6 Zerah’s sons: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara —five in all.

7 Carmi’s son: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel when he was unfaithful by taking the things set apart for destruction.

6 The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Darda, five in all. 7 The son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the matter of the devoted thing;

6 The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five in all. 7 The son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who acted unfaithfully in the matter of the devoted thing.

6 The sons of Zerah were

Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and Darda. The total number of Zerah’s sons was five.

7 The son of Carmi was Achar.

He brought trouble on Israel. He took some of the things that had been set apart to the Lord in a special way to be destroyed. When he did that, he disobeyed the Lord’s command.

6 The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and Dara; five of them in all.

7 The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Israel, who violated the ban.
