Psalm 33:1–4

Title Of David. When he pretended to be insane before Abimelek, who drove him away, and he left.

1 I will extol the Lord at all times;

his praise will always be on my lips.

2 I will glory in the Lord;

let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

3 Glorify the Lord with me;

let us exalt his name together.

Title  Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away.

1 I will bless the Lord at all times;

his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord;

let the humble hear and be glad.

3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,

and let us exalt his name together!

so that he drove him out, and so he departed.

1 I will bless Yahweh at all times;

his praise shall be in my mouth continually.

2 My soul makes its boast in Yahweh;

let the humble hear and be glad.

3 Magnify Yahweh with me,

and let us exalt his name together.

Title A psalm of David when he was in front of Abimelech and pretended to be out of his mind. Abimelech drove him away, and he left.

1 I will thank the Lord at all times.

My lips will always praise him.

2 I will honor the Lord.

Let those who are hurting hear and be joyful.

3 Join me in giving glory to the Lord.

Let us honor him together.
