Revelation 20:13–21:4

13 Then the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hadesad gave up the dead that were in them; each one was judged according to their works. 14 Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.ae This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

THE NEW CREATION

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth;af for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,ag and the sea was no more.ah 2 I also saw the holy city,ai the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,aj prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.ak

3 Then I heard a loud voiceal from the throne:C,am Look, God’s dwellingD is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples,E,an and God himself will be with them and will be their God.F 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.ao Death will be no more;ap grief, crying, and pain will be no more,aq because the previous thingsG have passed away.ar
