Por segunda vez el Señor habló a Jonás de esta manera:
— Disponte a ir a la gran ciudad de Nínive para pregonar allí el mensaje que yo te encargo.
Partió Jonás al instante hacia Nínive de acuerdo con la orden del Señor. Nínive era una ciudad tan grande que se necesitaba andar tres días para recorrerla.
