Huyan de Babilonia,
país de los caldeos;
salgan como carneros
al frente del rebaño.
Pues voy a incitar contra Babilonia
una asamblea de naciones poderosas;
llegarán desde el norte contra ella
y desde el norte será conquistada.
Sus flechas, como de experto guerrero,
no volverán de vacío.
Los caldeos serán despojados
y los saqueadores se hartarán
—oráculo del Señor—.
