Hasta profetas y sacerdotes son impíos,
hasta en mi Templo encuentro su maldad
—oráculo del Señor—.
Por eso, su camino
se les hará resbaladizo;
empujados a las tinieblas,
en las tinieblas caerán.
Traeré contra ellos la desgracia
el año en que les pida cuentas
—oráculo del Señor—.
Entre los profetas de Samaría
he visto una cosa inmoral:
profetizan en nombre de Baal
y extravían a mi pueblo Israel.
Entre los profetas de Jerusalén
he visto una cosa espantosa:
son adúlteros, van tras la mentira,
se ponen a favor de los malvados
y nadie se aparta de su maldad.
Son todos para mí como Sodoma,
sus habitantes igual que Gomorra.
