Sus nobles han enviado
a sus sirvientes por agua;
ya llegan a los aljibes,
y no encuentran ni una gota;
ya regresan de vacío,
confusos, decepcionados,
con la cabeza cubierta.
La tierra está extenuada,
pues no hay lluvia en el país;
los labradores están decepcionados,
van con la cabeza cubierta.
