Por eso irá mi pueblo al destierro,
por falta de perspicacia,
con sus nobles hambrientos,
sus notables abrasados por la sed.
Por eso abre sus fauces
el reino de los muertos
y dilata su boca sin medida,
para tragar su gloria y su nobleza,
todo su bullicio y su alegría.
