Aprendan a hacer el bien,
tomen decisiones justas,
restablezcan al oprimido,
hagan justicia al huérfano,
defiendan la causa de la viuda.
Vengan y discutamos esto,
— dice el Señor—.
Aunque sean sus pecados
tan rojos como la grana,
blanquearán como la nieve;
aunque sean como la púrpura,
como lana quedarán.
Si están dispuestos a obedecer,
comerán lo mejor de la tierra;
si se niegan y se rebelan,
la espada los comerá.
Es el Señor quien ha hablado.
JERUSALÉN: VILLA INFIEL
¡Vean convertida en ramera
a la que era Villa Fiel!
Rebosante de derecho,
albergue de la justicia,
¡ahora rebosa de criminales!
Tu plata es escoria,
tu vino está aguado:
tus jefes, revoltosos
compadres de ladrones,
amantes de sobornos,
en busca de regalos.
No hacen justicia al huérfano,
rehúyen la defensa de la viuda.
