PARÁBOLA DE LA MADERA DE LA VID
El Señor me dirigió la palabra:
¿Vale más, hijo de hombre,
la madera de la vid
que los troncos de madera
de otros árboles del bosque?
¿Se toma de ella un trozo
para hacer algún objeto,
o se fabrica una percha
para colgar los cacharros?
Si se echa al fuego como combustible,
sus extremos se consumen en las llamas
y por dentro queda calcinada;
¿servirá entonces para algo?
Si, cuando estaba intacta,
ya no servía para nada,
una vez devorada por el fuego,
¿qué utilidad podrá tener?
