Psalm XIV.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

aThe bfool hath said in his heart, cThere is no God.

dThey are corrupt, they have done abominable works,

eThere is none that doeth good.

2The Lord flooked down from heaven upon the children of men,

To see if there were eany gthat did understand, and hseek God.

3eThey are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy:

There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4Have all the workers of iniquity ino knowledge?

Who keat up my people as they eat bread,

And lcall not upon the Lord.

5mThere were they in great fear:

nFor God is in the generation of the righteous.

6nYou have shamed the counsel of the poor,

Because the Lord is his orefuge.

7O that the salvation of Israel were come pout of Zion!

When the Lord qbringeth back the captivity of his people,

Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
