50 Afterward returned Bacchides to Jerusalem, and * repaired the strong cities in Judea; the fort in oJericho, and pEmmaus, and qBethoron, and rBethel, and sThamnatha, tPharathoni, and * uTaphon, these did he strengthen vwith high walls, with gates, and with bars.
