^٢وَمُنْذُ أَمْسِ وَمَا قَبْلَهُ، حِينَ كَانَ شَاوُلُ مَلِكًا عَلَيْنَا، قَدْ كُنْتَ أَنْتَ تُخْرِجُ وَتُدْخِلُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. وَقَدْ قَالَ لَكَ الرَّبُّ: أَنْتَ تَرْعَى شَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَأَنْتَ تَكُونُ رَئِيسًا عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ».
