Leviticus 20:25 — New Living Translation (NLT)

25 “You must therefore make a distinction between ceremonially clean and unclean animals, and between clean and unclean birds. You must not defile yourselves by eating any unclean animal or bird or creature that scurries along the ground. I have identified them as being unclean for you.

Leviticus 20:25 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

25 You shall therefore distinguish between clean animals and unclean, between unclean birds and clean, and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or by any kind of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

Leviticus 20:25 — New Century Version (NCV)

25 Ye shall therefore make a distinction between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by bird, or by anything wherewith the ground teemeth, which I have separated from you as unclean.

Leviticus 20:25 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

25 And ye shall make a separation between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean, and ye shall not make yourselves an abomination by beast, or by fowl, or by anything that creepeth on the ground which I have separated for you, declaring it as unclean.

Leviticus 20:25 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

Leviticus 20:25 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

25 Therefore you must distinguish the clean animal from the unclean one, and the unclean bird from the clean one. Do not become contaminated by any land animal, bird, or whatever crawls on the ground; I have set these apart as unclean for you.

Leviticus 20:25 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

25 You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean; you shall not bring abomination on yourselves by animal or by bird or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have set apart for you to hold unclean.

Leviticus 20:25 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

25 And you shall distinguish between the clean and the unclean animal and between the unclean and the clean bird; and you shall not defile yourselves with the animal or with the bird or with anything that moves along the ground that I have set apart for you as unclean.

Leviticus 20:25 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

25 “ ‘So you must be able to tell the difference between animals that are “clean” and those that are not. You must know which birds are “clean” and which are not. Do not make yourselves “unclean” by eating any animal or bird that is not “clean.” Do not make yourselves “unclean” by eating anything that moves along the ground. I have set all of them apart. They are “unclean” for you.

Leviticus 20:25 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)

25 ‘You are therefore to make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean; and you shall not make yourselves detestable by animal or by bird or by anything that creeps on the ground, which I have separated for you as unclean.
