32 *And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, atake up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like ba young lion of the nations, and thou art as a ||whale in cthe seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and dtroubledst the waters with thy feet, and efouledst their rivers. Thus saith the Lord God; I will therefore eespread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my fnet. Then gwill I leave thee upon the land, gI will cast thee forth upon the open field, and hwill cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee. And I will lay thy flesh iupon the mountains, and fill ithe valleys with thy height. I will also water with thy blood ||the land wherein thou swimmest, even ito the mountains; and ithe rivers shall be full of thee. And when I shall ||put thee out, kI will cover the heaven, and lmake the stars thereof dark; kI will cover the sun with a cloud, and kthe moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of heaven will I lmake dark over thee, and nset darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord God. I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy odestruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known. 10 Yea, I will pmake many people amazed at thee, and ptheir kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and qthey shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, rin the day of thy fall.

11 For thus saith the Lord God; sThe sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. 1By the swords of the mighty will I cause tthy multitude to fall, uthe terrible of the nations, all of them: and vthey shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all tthe multitude thereof shall be destroyed. 13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; wneither shall the foot of man dtrouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts dtrouble them. 14 Then will I xmake their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord God. 15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and ythe country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then zshall they know that I am the Lord. 16 This is athe lamentation wherewith bthey shall lament her: bbthe daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all cher multitude, saith the Lord God.

17 *It came to pass also in the twelfth year, din the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 18 Son of man, wail for cthe multitude of Egypt, and ecast them down, even her, and bbthe daughters of the famous nations, efunto the nether parts of the earth, efwith them that go down into the pit. 19 gWhom dost thou pass in beauty? hgo down, and ibe thou laid with jthe uncircumcised. 20 They shall fall in the midst of kthem that are slain by the sword: ||she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all cher multitudes. 21 lThe strong among the mighty mshall speak to him out of the midst of hell with nthem that help him: hrthey are gone down, they lie juncircumcised, kslain by the sword. 22 oAsshur is there and all her company: oohis graves are about him: all of them kslain, fallen by the sword: 23 Whose graves are set in pthe sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them kslain, fallen by the sword, qwhich caused ||terror rin the land of the living. 24 oThere is sElam and all cher multitude round about her grave, all of them kslain, fallen by the sword, hwhich are gone down juncircumcised finto the nether parts of the earth, qwhich caused their terror rin the land of the living; yet thave they borne their shame fwith them that go down to the pit. 25 They have set her ua bed in the midst of the slain with all cher multitude: ooher graves are round about him: all of them juncircumcised, kslain by the sword: though qtheir terror was caused rin the land of the living, yet thave they borne their shame fwith them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain. 26 oThere is vMeshech, vTubal, and all cher multitude: ooher graves are round about him: all of them juncircumcised, kslain by the sword, though qthey caused their terror rin the land of the living. 27 And wthey shall not lie with xthe mighty that are fallen of jthe uncircumcised, ywhich are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and ythey have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were qthe terror of xthe mighty rin the land of the living. 28 Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of jthe uncircumcised, and iwshalt lie with kthem that are slain with the sword. 29 oThere is zEdom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by kthem that were slain by the sword: ithey shall lie with jthe uncircumcised, and fwith them that go down to the pit. 30 oThere be athe princes of bthe north, all of them, and all cthe Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and ithey lie juncircumcised kwith them that be slain by the sword, and tbear their shame fwith them that go down to the pit. 31 Pharaoh shall see them, and dshall be comforted over all ehis multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army kslain by the sword, saith the Lord God. 32 For qI have caused my terror rin the land of the living: and ihe shall be laid in the midst of jthe uncircumcised with kthem that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all ehis multitude, saith the Lord God.
