The Materials for the Sanctuary

25:1 1 The Lord spoke to Moses: 25:2 “Tell the Israelites to take2 an offering3 for me; from every person motivated by a willing4 heart you5 are to receive my offering. 25:3 This is the offering you6 are to accept from them: gold, silver, bronze, 25:4 blue,7 purple,8 scarlet,9 fine linen,10 goat’s hair,11 25:5 ram skins dyed red,12 fine leather,13 acacia14 wood, 25:6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for fragrant incense, 25:7 onyx stones, and other gems to be set in the ephod and in the breastpiece. 25:8 Let them make15 for me a sanctuary,16 so that I may live among them. 25:9 According to all that I am showing you17—the pattern of the tabernacle18 and the pattern of all its furnishings—you19 must make it exactly so.20
