Bronze Laver. (Heb. kîyôr neḥošeṯ). A basin (so JB, NIV at Exod. 40:30) located in the court between the tabernacle and the burnt-offering altar, in which the priests and the high priest were to wash their hands and feet before sacrificing on the altar (Exod. 30:17–21; KJV “laver of brass”).
