Talmai (son of Anak)

A son or descendant of Anak who is observed by the 12 spies sent out by the Israelites (Num 13:22). Referred to collectively as the Anakim, the sons or descendants of Anak were known for their great height; Caleb drove three of them out of Hebron and occupied it (Josh 15:14; Judg 1:10).
