Stylus
STYLUS. An instrument used for writing, simply pointed for writing on a wax tablet such as the Assyrians and Romans used (Isa 8:1, NASB marg.), or with a triangular end for making cuneiform impressions on a clay tablet. An iron stylus was an engraving tool used for cutting letters on stone (Job 19:24;
