SITHRI (PERSON) [Heb sitrı̂ (סִתְרִי)]. A son of Uzziel, who was a brother of Aaron’s father Amram (Exod 6:22). Thus Sithri was also a cousin of Moses and a Levite from the clan of Kohath. Zith´ri (protection of Jehovah), properly Sithri; one of the sons of Uzziel the son of Kohath. Ex. 6:22. In Ex. 6:21 Zithri should be Ziehri, as in Authorized Version of 1611.
SITH´RI (sithʹri; “protective”). The son of Uzziel, and grandson of Kohath, of the tribe of Levi (Ex. 6:22). This is the only mention made of him in Scripture.
