Shashak shāʹshak [Heb. šāšāq] (1 Ch. 8:14, 25). A Benjaminite; the father of eleven sons. Depending upon the punctuation of the Hebrew text, he was either the son of Elpaal (cf. vv 12–14, RSV) or of Beraiah (cf. vv 14–16, NEB).
