Shaaph, Son of Caleb
Shaaph, Son of Caleb (שַׁעַף‎, sha'aph). Son of Caleb by Maacah; father of Madmannah (1 Chr 2:49). It is possible that 1 Chronicles is crediting Shaaph as the founder of the town of Madmannah, mentioned in Josh 15:31.
