Second Book of Enoch

Second Enoch, Book of. Also known as “Slavonic Enoch” or “The Book of the Secrets of Enoch.” Second Enoch is a pseudepigraphal and nonbiblical work influenced by 1 Enoch and like 1 Enoch is apocalyptic. Contains rewritten sections of Gen 5:21–32—expanding the Enochic and Noahic materials of the Old Testament in an apocalyptic fashion.
