NOGAH (PERSON) [Heb nōgah (נֹגַה)]. One of thirteen sons of David listed as having been born to David’s wives in Jerusalem (1 Chr 3:7; 14:6), in addition to his six sons born at Hebron. His mother’s name is unknown: four of the thirteen were Bathsheba’s sons; the remainder were born to unnamed wives.

Nogah nōʹgə [Heb nōg̱ah—‘shining’]. A son of David born at Jerusalem (1 Ch. 3:7; 14:6). In the parallel list in 2 S. 5:14f the name is lacking. According to H. Williamson (1 and 2 Chronicles [NCBC, 1982], p. 56), Nogah is “a dittograph of the following name” (Heb nep̱eg̱).
