A place located west of Kiriath-jearim, between Zorah and Eshtaol, where the Spirit of Yahweh began to stir Samson (Judg 13:25). This is also the place where 600 Danites camped (Judg 18:12) on their way to conquer the city of Laishah. The actual location of Mahaneh-Dan is still a matter of speculation.
