LIKHI (PERSON) [Heb liqḥı̂ (לִקְחִי)]. The third son of Shemida (1 Chr 7:19) in the genealogy of Manasseh (7:14–19). His name appears only once in the Bible, and it is probably cognate with the Heb verb “take, grasp” (lāqaḥ). Some have suggested, however, that “Likhi” is nothing more than a textual
