Ladan (lay´duhn).1 An Ephraimite, the father of Ammihud and ancestor of Joshua (1 Chron. 7:26).2 The head of the Gershonite group of Levites (1 Chron. 23:7–9; 26:21); he is also called Libni (Exod. 6:17; Num. 3:18). See also Libni.
